Tempus Pro™ on the Web
Last November, we enhanced Tempus Pro™ by adding the
ability to record time and expenses over the web. This has proved particularly
popular with clients with overseas employees, multiple sites/offices or with employees
more often than not operating away from the office. Over the last nine
months, our development team has been working flat out to produce a full web version
of Tempus Pro™ with all of the functionality of the desktop version. Within
Coretime™, we have now been running a beta copy of the full web version of Tempus
Pro™ as part of the initial testing of the product. The next phase is to install
Tempus Pro for the Web in two beta sites for further testing and feedback. Following
completion of the above testing, together with the exhaustive testing being carried
out in-house on a daily basis, it is our plan to launch Tempus Pro™ for the Web

Euro With the changeover to the Euro only
6 months away firms should have already reviewed their business processes to determine
the effect the change to the Euro will have on their operations. An individual
plan should be prepared to manage the changeover, which should set out exactly
what has to be done, who is to do it and when it must be done by. This plan is
unique to your business. Like all software packages that record or maintain
financial information, Tempus Pro™ will be directly affected by the Euro. To this
end, we have developed a separate program to carry out the conversion. A detailed
document will be available shortly to explain fully how to carry out the conversion
and the effects the conversion program will have on existing data. In broad terms
it will be a once off routine with all data being converted in accordance with
conversion guidelines provided by Forfas. Any rounding issues will be transferred
to a special rounding account by way of a journal. Final testing is presently
being carried out and we expect to have the Euro Conversion program available

Special Summer Promotion Both Task Master
and Staff Planner are Tempus Pro™ modules designed to make life easier for the
professional. Task Manager is a powerful piece of software enabling tasks
to be assigned to employees throughout the organisation. When the employee works
on these tasks, the recording of time is very simple and enables management to
review at any time progress made on tasks assigned by them. Staff Planner
is a network accessible wall charts allowing management to assign staff to client
projects on a week-to-week or month-to-month basis. The employee on reviewing
his or her timesheet is informed as to which project they are intended to work
on. For the months of July and August, the price of each module has been

Contracts Don’t forget – your maintenance contract entitles you to download
upgrades from our Website, FREE. Typically, an upgrade will encompass additional
or enhanced reports or new features as result of requests from our client base.
The download and upgrade process is very straightforward and requires no technical
knowledge. However, you must be running Version 3.5 or later to avail of this
method of upgrade. Instructions are available on the web site. The User
Name and Password changes on a monthly basis to ensure that only clients who have
paid their annual maintenance contract can avail of this service. Please phone
our support desk for the current User Name and Password.

Remote Pack Our remote pack facility
is proving to be very popular amongst our existing client base as a budget option
to obtaining time and expense data from staff working away from the office. The
remote pack, was originally designed for lap top users working away from the office
who, when the returned to the office, could synchronise with the office database.
A further refinement of the remote pack has been introduced by providing
the lap top user the facility to e-mail their timesheet back to the office and
hence avoiding delays that might be experienced updating time and expense data
as a result of the employee not returning to the office. For further information,

User Tip Did you know that you can export
as much or as little of the Tempus Pro™ data to a CSV file, which in turn can
be read by Excel or Lotus 123? Go to Utilities, Export and select the information
required. Often forgotten, there is a suite of reports for individual employees
within the employee time entry screen. Simply select the printer icon beside the
user name to be offered a number of employee reports. Back

Training We will be holding a series
of Training Seminars in September/October on the more complex features of Tempus
Pro™. These seminars will be typically of a 3 or 4-hour duration with an opportunity
at the end of each seminar for attendees to quiz the presenter on specific issues
affecting them in their day-to-day operation of Tempus Pro™. The cost will be
Ir£125 per person. Where more than one person attends from any one Company, a
