Coretime Brings Web Enabled Tempus Pro to Softworld

6/7 March 2002 - At Softworld Accounting and Finance, Ryba Macaulay Ltd, an authorized reseller of Coretime's market leading timesheet solutions will be introducing the new, entirely web based, Tempus Pro Online.

Tempus Pro Online is a Time and Billing solution for the new millennium. It uses the Internet to mirror the working practices of its users. Multiple sites, tele-workers, staff working from home or client site and remote contractors can all access the single database from wherever they are. However, unlike other web products, Tempus Pro Online doesn't limit this access to recording time and expenses, but puts everything - tracking time, managing projects, reviewing work-in-progress, creating sales invoices, running complex reports - online and available to the user.

Tempus Pro Online

Requires no client software - installation is on the corporate web server that can sit behind the corporate firewall and is administered over the Intranet or Internet using a web browser
Really puts Work-In-Progress in play - the most valuable asset no longer resides within the Administration department, but with the manager who is best placed to achieve maximum profitability from it. The manager can even raise an invoice on-line, including information recorded seconds before by an employee on the other side of the world
Makes time entry simple - whether a user clicks and drags on a time based piano bar at the base of the timesheet or clicks on the + button, adding time - one of the basic hurdles - is easy, instinctive and familiar (Tempus Pro Online uses an explorer interface familiar to all Microsoft OutlookÔ users)

Derek Vard, General Manager of Coretime, comments, "We are delighted to be showing our new web based solution at Softworld. It gives us a further opportunity to show users how we believe we've cracked the biggest problem associated with any Time and Billing solution - getting staff to use it. Not only do we believe it is simple to use, but it is now available through a browser, so that it now mirrors the working practices of many time-based organizations. It is clear that more of our customers are experiencing all the challenges of a disparate workforce, pressure on IT support and increased pressure on the fast creation, control and billing of Work-in-Progress. By allowing a user to log in and complete their timesheet wherever they are - at home, on the move, at a client or in the office - gets that valuable time, and note information, to the manager immediately, thus allowing the person best placed to maximize the profitability from it.

Daniel Clark, Director of Ryba Macaulay Ltd, commented, "As always we are amazed with the functionality Coretime squeeze into their products. The basic tasks - putting in time, billing, reviewing WIP - are all very easy to learn, comprehensive and functional. The new web version is incredible and supports the real working profile of many of our customers. Whilst web enabled timesheets offer huge benefits to the user, having a manager review a project at home or at the client site, and then make decisions with real time information takes it one giant step further. Add in the ASP model and time based organizations no longer need elaborate IT systems to support their business".
