Given the opportunity, employees prefer to illustrate just what they have achieved during the working day.

All professionals spend some time on non chargeable projects. But the proportion of their time spent in this manner is nothing like the value being shown on timesheets across the world.

The reason: We call it "admin padding". Tedious timesheet systems lead to apathy and inaccuracy, regardless of whether they are paper based, spreadsheets, software or web.

Fill your timesheet at the end of the week and you'll find swathes of time for which you cannot account.
