Excel timesheets are ‘free’ and very flexible but they do have their limitations. There is limited scope for validation at entry, so users can, potentially, enter time against the wrong job number, against jobs that are inactive or ‘dump’ time on jobs where time could be hidden. These potential errors typically need to be checked by an administrator before being posted on to a ‘master spreadsheet’ where all time against a job is recorded. This transposition exercise again introduces further scope for errors and takes time. This results in delays in producing reports and invoices. Coretime’s validation, auto-collation and posting removes all of this and allows you to accelerate your reporting and billing - saving you time, money and improving your cashflow.

Coretime offers a two-way interface with your Sage Accounts software to further remove duplication from your business – saving you time, reducing errors and, ultimately, saving you money. The accounts integration allows for Client and Supplier synchronisation (so names and addresses only need to be entered once), Sales Invoices and Receipts to transfer from Coretime to Sage and Purchases to post from Sage to Coretime.
