The Staff Planner module is very effective for managing staff allocation across different projects. Staff management is made easy by having access to all the critical staff and project details to allow informed decisions on choice of resources to be made. It saves time and money by allowing Managers to gain an overview of staff availability and use data to plan and optimise resources on their projects. It improves efficiency by ensuring staff are clear about their role on projects and the scheduled time allocated against tasks which they need to complete.

Easy to use, visual planning tool.

The Sage Coretime Staff Planner is a module which uses a simple wall planner type interface to allow staff to be allocated to projects as soon as they are agreed with clients which can then be updated as project needs change. By using a centralised system of pre-entered client, project and employee details, the required resources can be allocated to projects with ease. Once staff are assigned to projects and projects commence, staff log time against the scheduled tasks. Project Managers and other Staff Schedulers are then able to review time recorded on projects as they are updated.

Reports are available by means of the Employee / Staff Planner Report. This report shows the planned hours against actual worked hours allowing differences between planned and actual to be clearly identified. The data can be filtered by employee or by project to allow easy analysis.
